1. Our approach
Orkestriq uses only strictly necessary cookies and similar local-storage technologies that are essential to sign you in, keep you signed in, secure your session, and remember basic preferences such as your language. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics/tracking cookies.
Because these technologies are strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested, UK PECR and equivalent EU rules do not require prior consent for them. The banner we show is therefore informational. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first.
2. What we store
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
| Supabase auth/session token | Local storage (essential) | Keeps an authenticated organiser/staff user signed in and secures the session | Session / until sign-out or expiry |
ork_cookie_ok | Local storage (essential) | Remembers that you have seen the cookie notice so it isn't shown again | Persistent |
orkestriq_lang | Local storage (essential) | Remembers your chosen language (EN/FR) | Persistent |
| Attendee portal token (in URL/local storage) | Essential | Gives an attendee access to their own event portal | For the event lifecycle |
3. Third-party resources
Our pages may load web fonts from Google Fonts. When this happens, your IP address is shared with Google to deliver the fonts. This does not set advertising cookies. To avoid this transfer entirely, fonts can be self-hosted.
4. Managing storage
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Note that clearing essential items will sign you out and reset your preferences, and some features will not work without them.
